I’m a New Yorker living in Seattle. I grew up in Stony Brook where I was the youngest in our neighborhood gang that roamed the woods and creek around Erland Road. (Tommy Donahue, you know who you are!) My blog is named after a game we all played there that you may know too, Red Light Green Light 1-2-3. We moved to Huntington where I dove into all kinds of dastardly teenage things with a mad and wonderful mix of friends.
In my writing and my life, I advocate for my son who has a disability.
I’ve applied for a Washington state artist grant this year. Next application is for a local residency. My poem “Handmade Kites” was published in Kaleidoscope Review #74 in February 2017. “A Comet’s Tale” appeared in Babylon Review, and other poems and essays have appeared in both print and online journals. My MFA is from Brooklyn.
