I’m a New Yorker living in Seattle. I grew up in Stony Brook until I was 7. We roamed the woods and creek off Erland Road until our mother rang the bell to call us home. When my family moved to Huntington, I dove into all kinds of dastardly teenage things with a mad and wonderful mix of friends.

My poem “Handmade Kites” was published in Kaleidoscope Review #74 in February 2017. “A Comet’s Tale” appeared in Babylon Review, and other poems and essays have appeared in both print and online journals.

In a nutshell, I’m:

  • a writer
  • much like many women: mom, spouse, daughter, sister, auntie
  • trying to recognize the America I once knew

But I have laughter, so let’s get to it!
